Mr. Ward outlined in relation to the standard's Context clause how the global business environment will influence organizations as they consider the relevance of 45001 to their business needs.

• Using his survey data Mr. Ward explained the findings and related them to this bigger picture.

 

Presenter:

Chris Ward was an inspector with UK regulator the Health and Safety Executive for 37 years. He inspected and managed inspectors in most manufacturing and service sectors. He specialized in health and safety management systems and revised HSE's guidance HSG 65. He has contributed to the drafting of ISO 45001. He continues to investigate fatal accidents around the world.
