Amimu has held various position in these environments including Information Systems Manager, Information and Communication Technology Manager, ISO project manager, Business Consultant, Cybersecurity Auditor : Resilience and Cybersecurity. Amimu is  a holder of Certified Information Security Manager(CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control(CRISC), ISO27001 Lead Implementer, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, ISO27005 Lead Risk Manager, Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL v3 Foundation, CCNSP(Cyberoam /Sophos Network and Security Professional), COBIT 2019.  part Chartered Association of Certified Accountant(ACCA) certificate and a  Business Continuity Institute(MBCI) certificate at Member level. Amimu's professional journey has seen him implementing a number of projects on Information and CyberSecurity( Auditing and Implementation) , Business Continuity, Enterprise Security Architecture , IT Maturity Assessments, Risk Management  projects in both private and public institutions.   Amimu is a member of ISACA, Business Continuity Institute(MBCI), Institute of Information Technology Professionals  of  South Africa(IITPSA) and the Institute of Risk Managers of SouthAfrica(IRMSA).
