Marius Dumitrescu has a degree in political science, has a master's degree in marketing and over 17 years of experience in implementing and managing medical and pharmaceutical software solutions. He is the president of the Romanian Association of Privacy and Data Protection Specialists (ASCPD) and graduated in July 2018 long-term postgraduate studies on GDPR at the Faculty of Economics, Law and Administration - Center for Data Protection (CPD) in Tîrgu-Mureș, Romania.  He is the editorial director of two publications, one for professionals in the protection and security of personal data and one addressed to the medical and pharmaceutical community in Romania. He is a trainer and lecturer, holding several educational sessions on topics such as data security, the General Regulation on Data Protection and organizational management. He is actively involved in organizing events with a tradition in the Romanian health field, especially in the medical field, pharmacoeconomics and health management.
