Hasan Isa Al-Sharqi Profile MBA, Chemical Engineer, Chief of Quality (Auditor, Trainer, Implementer) PMC-Consultant.   An experienced engineer, with long practice in Quality Management, Change Management, Business Improvement, Training & Leadership Coaching. He is currently working as the Chief of Quality Management Section in Ministry of Works Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning in the Kingdom of Bahrain. With more than 14 years of career experience in both engineering and managerial positions, He worked as a Senior Quality Specialist in Ministry of Industry and Commerce for six years. Part of his duty is establishing, maintaining and monitoring the quality infrastructure in Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC countries. Coming from Industrial background with more than five years of experience as a Chemical engineer (GPIC) and Quality Engineer (Medal Cable) allowed him to be an International expert & assessor for quality, standards, and conformity assessments. He was nominated to be the representative of Bahrain in many quality audit visits overseas in China, Japan, Europe, and India. He has been elected as the Head of Standards and Technical Regulations Committee in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) (2007-2010). Besides he has been appointed as the Head of National Committee to review the ISO 26000 (2008-2010). And in 2006, he was appointed as the Head of National Committee of quality in chemical and mechanical products. As an international expert and trainer in Quality Management and business improvements, he proposed a new formula to evaluate scientifically and mathematically “The effectiveness of leadership on Quality Culture”. The research of the formula and the new mechanism was presented at the European Conference on Quality in (Sweden- June 2014), the Asian Quality Conference in (Sri Lanka-October 2014) and The Engineering Quality Conference in Portugal (2016). Al-Sharqi is an active practitioner member of the Chartered quality institute-UK, an IRCA lead auditor for ISO 9001 since February 2004. Lead Auditor Trainer by PECB and IRCA, EFQM assessor, Member of the Canadian Society for Quality, Member of the American Society of Management & Consulting ASMC and Member of the European Organization for Quality EOQ.
