ISO 14031: The business value of Environmental Performance Evaluation

Environmental Performance Evaluation (or EPE), along with environmental audits and compliance help the management of an organization to assess the status of its environmental performance and identify areas for improvement in a similar way with other industry best practices. As it is an ongoing process of collection and assessment of environmental data, it also enables organizations to observe its performance trends over time, which can play a factor in strategic goal setting.
