With a solid experience in Information Security (25 years), Alexandre is a distinguished Information Security Professional and recognised security expert, thanks to numerous successful cybersecurity projects and programme management in the cybersecurity and leadership roles within both the public and private sectors (+150 missions as advisor and auditor). He has held various positions of responsibility, including Chief Technology Officer, CISO and Security Officer, Consulting Director, or as Cybersecurity expert for Defence and EU Space Programmes and provide support on all protective security, personnel security, security of information, CIS Security issues, project and industrial security matters as they affect personnel and facilities; After having completed his studies in Digital Networks and Cybersecurity in 2001, Alexandre has been working as a security advisor in various IT/OT domains. He quickly became specialised in cybersecurity for critical, complex, and embedded systems such as Combat Management Systems, Network Centric Warfare, and weapons systems for main defence industries and international organisations. From 2010 onwards, Alexandre's interest focused in the space field and its associated security challenges. Since then, he has been working with determination as Cybersecurity Consulting Manager, Chief Information Security Officer or Security Transition Manager primarily in the areas of defence & space programmes (French and European). In particular, from 2016 to 2022, Alexandre served as Security Principal Advisor for a Space European Agency, where he brought his knowledge and expertise in Cybersecurity, Security audits, Security Accreditation, Governance, Security Risk Management, Compliance, and Physical Security to protect European Critical Infrastructures and EU Space Programmes such as EGNOS, GALILEO, COPERNICUS, SSA-SST, and Space Weather. In mid-2022, Alexandre was appointed as Chief Technological Officer and Security Officer for the French subsidiary of an engineering and Cybersecurity for space company. He played a decisive role in driving technological innovation and strategic direction, including support to European Cybersecurity initiatives, the development of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) for space, or Digital Twins, leading to significant advancements in Cybersecurity for Space Systems through Simulation for Space applications using Artificial intelligence for Defensive and Offensive struggles. In parallel with these activities, Alexandre is actively engaged with the Cyber and Space communities as member of COMET CYBER (a group of experts led by CNES focused on cybersecurity of space assets), a member of CNES by Connect (a community of space users), and serving as a superior officer in the Citizen Reserve of Gendarmerie Cyber (LCL®). Finally, Alexandre's contributions to various international Space and Security events have further solidified his position as an expert in Cyber Security for Critical, Embedded & Complex Systems for defence and space services. He frequently speaks at these events including Les Assises de la Cybersécurité, CYSAT, FIC, Blackhat, Les Assises du new space, Campus cyber events, Podcasts, and more. Currently, Alexandre works as an independent Trainer and Principal Security Advisor, delivering Executive C-level security advisory and tailored services to help his clients in defence and space sectors (CEO, Administration boards, European institutions, New Space startups…) maintain alignment between their business goals, operational needs, innovative technologies and related security regulatory obligations.
