Walid Mahmoud has over 24 years of IT leadership, Information and Cyber Security experience in multinationals working on various complex IT and Security projects across EMEA countries leveraging cutting-edge hybrid and multi cloud security solutions while building, mentoring, and leading high-performing global teams. Walid participated in tens of international conferences and has always enjoyed sharing the wealth of information security expertise he continuously develop. Walid held several  IT Operations & IT Security Manager, Head of IT Risk Management, Head of Cyber Security, and CISO in Information Security, Manufacturing and Academic Industries, in MENA. He currently focusing on building Secure Private Clouds, information and Cyber Security Systems and enabling digital transformation for commercial and financial sectors by building the adequate cyber resiliency. Walid is Lecturing Cyber Security to Postgraduate in several international universities and institutions in the MENA region. Walid has always been an early adaptor of several state of the art technologies, in addition to his MBA from Florida State University, and MSc. Management of Technology from Nile University, he holds many of the top industry certifications like: MCSE, MCT, GDPR Practitioner, Microsoft MVP 2005 – 2012, CCISO, CISSP, ITIL Master, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor/Trainer.
