Eric Lachapelle (B.A., B.Sc., M.B.A., M.I.M)
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer.

Eric’s main concern is to ensure that PECB consistently provides services of the utmost quality and all participants and applicants are treated with respect, fairness and courtesy. He is also particularly dedicated to ensuring that partners are provided with world-class material and support.

Eric has over 20 years of experience managing information security for organizations around the world. He has worked in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, auditing and training thousands of executives from Fortune 1000 companies. Before founding PECB, Eric was Senior Director for Sales and Distribution at Callio Technologies, an ISO 27001 solutions developer. Under Eric's leadership, Callio's distribution network increased tenfold, reaching all continents and helping position Callio as a world leader in ISO 27001 software tools. In a prior life, Eric was a Business Administration teacher for an international university with schools all over Asia.

He holds the following credentials: ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP).

Faton Tony Aliu (M.Sc., PhD (c))
Co-Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer.

Faton is responsible for establishing and maintaining all PECB examination and certification schemes, managing compliance management systems and accreditations, IT Systems as well as strategic projects. Faton's main concern is to ensure that divisions of PECB are functioning accordingly and meeting their goals.

He has over 15 years of professional experience in quality and information security management, project management, information technology, consulting, training and auditing. Faton is systems oriented in approach and style; proven to be people minded with clear thinking and the ability to get others to accomplish desired results. Prior to PECB, Faton was the CEO of DCE Group, a consulting firm specializing in implementation of ISO standards. He also was Education Technologies Director at the American University in Kosovo from 2003 to 2007.

Faton received his Master's Degree in Service Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology and currently is pursuing PhD in Quality Management from ECPD. He holds the following credentials: ISO 27001 Master, EOQ/DGQ Quality Systems Manager, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, ISO 20000 Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and CE Marking counselor.
