As a certified information security, OT security (CISM, CISSP) René has been dedicated to helping organizations to implement best practices and to comply with applicable laws and regulations for more than two decades. His experience includes operational management, project management, consulting, and training, as well as having worked as a lead auditor and lead implementer for high profile compliance programs. With many thousands of hands-on hours in consulting combined with the urge to convey complex topics in an easy way, combined with a vast experience and examples, makes René an often used go-to person in both public medias and in training environment. He is also active member of the Sub-Committee 27 (SC27) responsible for the improvement of Security Standards (27xxx series) and president for ISA danish section responsible for the improvement of the Industrial System Security series of standards (IEC62443 series). Within his responsibilities he is involved in the re-writing of other standards such as Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and more.
