Victor Sarmiento is an Electronic Engineer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with extensive experience in strategic direction and supervision of technology, cybersecurity, and compliance areas. With over 25 years leading iFactum, Victor has been a member of the cybersecurity and compliance committee, evaluating the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System.   Victor holds a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University and a Certificate in Advanced Business Process Management from the University of Toronto. He is certified as an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer and DORA Lead Manager (Digital Operational Resilience Act), as well as holding multiple IBM certifications, including Cloud Computing Architecture, SOA Solutions Design, and Application Development. Victor is also a PECB Certified Instructor.   Author of the book "Secure by Design: Leveraging Vulnerability Scanning and Pen Testing for Compliance," published in 2023, Victor has significantly contributed to the field of cybersecurity. His expertise ranges from managing technology and cybersecurity to implementing artificial intelligence systems, promoting organizational innovation and efficiency.
