Amimu has more than 18 years experience in the Information  Technology industry with a manufacturing, mining, fiduciary services, tertiary education and government background. Amimu has held various position in these environments including Information Systems Manager, Information and Communication Technology Manager, ISO project manager and Business Consultant : Resilience and Cybersecurity. Amimu is  a holder of Certified Information Security Manager(CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control(CRISC), ISO27001 Lead Implementer, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, ISO27005 Lead Risk Manager, Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL v3 Foundation, CCNSP(Cyberoam /Sophos Network and Security Professional), part Chartered Association of Certified Accountant(ACCA) certificate and a certificate of the Business Continuity Institute(CBCI). Amimu's professional journey has seen him implementing a number of projects on Information Security, Business Continuity, Enterprise Architecture , IT Maturity Assessments, Risk Management and Cybersecurity projects in both private and public institutions.   Amimu is a member of ISACA, Business Continuity Institute(BCI), Institute of Information Technology Professionals  of  South Africa(IITPSA) and the Institute of Risk Managers of SouthAfrica(IRMSA)
