IPC welcomed PECB to IPC MLA

PECB is delighted and proud to announce that after its systematic efforts, has become an IPC MLA signatory member, by successfully addressing all the IPC MLA requirements; thus, becoming the seventh Personnel Certification Body globally to have joined IPC MLA. PECB is a certification body for persons, management systems, and products on a wide range of international standards, headquartered in Montreal, Canada.

The objective of IPC MLA is to facilitate international recognition of the certificates issued by Personnel Certification Bodies that certify personnel and/or recognize training courses against the IPC criteria. This is achieved by operating under a common set of rules, and by working within a common certification framework. As such, PECB’s Management System Auditors and Consultant certification schemes have been fully accepted under the IPC MLA.

International Personnel Certification Association’s “IPC Management System Auditors certification scheme” received endorsement as a sub-scope of the IAF MLA, during the thirty-first IAF General Assembly that took place on 28 and 30 October 2017 at Vancouver, Canada.

The IPC Management System Auditors certification scheme is the first personnel certification scheme ever to have achieved official endorsement by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). This means more consistency and integrity for Management System Auditors certificates issued around the world.

“My objective is to ensure that all the divisions within PECB are functioning accordingly and meeting the projected goals. PECB’s role in the IPC is to contribute to the further development of IPC’s certification schemes for persons while promoting the interest of certification bodies and serve the needs of the society for the competence of professionals”, said Mr. Faton Aliu, President & COO of PECB HQ.

"We are welcoming PECB as a signatory member of IPC MLA" noted Mr. Osman Vural, Chairman of IPC, adding that: "PECB is joining the elite of Personnel Certification Bodies that are providing Management System Auditors certification according to the world-wide recognized and operated "IPC Management System Auditors certification scheme" which is also IAF endorsed under its ISO/IEC 17024 program." He concluded "By joining IPC MLA, PECB has the ability to provide globally recognized and accepted MS auditor certification under IPC logo, learn what is coming down the road early enough to do the right thing at the right time, learn from other members on what worked and what didn’t, and understand how to be more effective in the personnel certification marketplace through collaboration."
