CF Fong Announced as Managing Director for PECB Southeast Asia

Montreal, Canada – September 1, 2016 – PECB, a certification body for persons, management systems and products on a wide range of international standards, today has announced that Mr. CF Fong has been appointed as Managing Director of PECB Southeast Asia, providing strategic leadership for the region’s market-leading and fast-growing operations. PECB Southeast Asia is managed by Nouveau Solution Sdn Bhd, the new business unit based out from Kuala Lumpur, which represents Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

 

Nouveau Solution is a boutique training and consulting organization that provides the necessary knowledge in IT to move business values to greater heights. Security is a big part of their overall direction and Nouveau aims to create awareness of the lack of security in the market and promote PECB’s offerings.

Awarded by IDG as the ASEAN Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the year 2013 and recently by CyberSecurity Malaysia as the Cybersecurity Professional of the year 2016, Mr. Fong has had considerable experience in the IT industry and is a 16-year veteran in the specialized and highly-demanding arena of information security; his special focus is undertaking IT security trainings and consultations to match strategic business objectives.

 

He has consulted with and trained multiple government and multinational clients in the Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and Africa regions on information system security, enterprise risk matrix design, policy review, policy implementation assurance, penetration testing, technical configuration evaluation, security procedures and disaster recovery/business continuity planning. Currently, he is the CEO of LE Global, a leading information security consulting business in Malaysia.
