Graeme Parker Announced as Managing Director for PECB Oceania

Montreal, Canada – September 1, 2016 – PECB, a certification body for persons, management systems and products on a wide range of international standards, today has announced that Graeme Parker, Managing Director of PECB UK and Ireland, has been appointed as Managing Director of PECB Oceania, providing strategic leadership for the region’s market-leading and fast-growing operations. PECB Oceania is the new business unit representing Australia,   Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.

Graeme Parker is a specialist in Information Security, Business Continuity and Risk Management.  Graeme started work in the banking industry working with Yorkshire Bank in the UK in branch before moving into IT operations.  After developing an interest in Information Security Graeme moved into the National Health Service (NHS) working as an Information Governance Manager leading many security and privacy programmes and implementing BS7799 the forerunner to ISO 27001.  Since then Graeme has spent time with major consulting companies such as Capita and Fujitsu leading projects and audits related to Security, Business Continuity, Risk and Quality Management.  From 2008 Graeme has been the director of his own company Parker Solutions Group which delivers training and consulting in the areas of IT Risk, Security, Governance, Privacy and Continuity Management.
