Transfer Your Certification to PECB

Why PECB?

PECB is a certification body which provides certification services under ISO/IEC 17024 for individuals on a wide range of disciplines. We help professionals and organizations show commitment and competence by providing them with valuable evaluation and certification services against rigorous internationally recognized standards. PECB is accredited by the International Accreditation Service, a U.S. Accreditation Body, and is a member of various reputable bodies such as IAAR, IPC, and Club Ebios (see here for more: https://pecb.com/en/affiliations). We offer more than 300 professional certifications in various fields, including, but not limited to, Information Security, GRC, Privacy, Quality, Health and Safety, etc.

Benefits of Transfer

Global recognition — Our certificates are internationally recognized and accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS), signatory of IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA), which ensures mutual recognition of accredited certification between signatories to the MLA and acceptance of accredited certification in many markets. Therefore, professionals who pursue a PECB certification credential will benefit from recognition in domestic and international markets.

Reasonable fees — Our annual certification maintenance fee (AMF) will be applied starting from the second year of being certified. Certified professionals are required to pay only $100 per certificate annually.

How to Transfer Your Certification to PECB?

To transfer your certification and get started with PECB, please follow these steps:

1. Application for transferring the certification
Send a copy of the certificate(s) you intend to transfer to PECB here: certification@pecb.com
2. Evaluation of application
The Certification Department verifies the provided information related to the certificates.
3. Decision
After reviewing the certificates, a decision is made.
4. Inform the applicants
PECB will inform you about the decision. In case of a positive decision, you will be invited to apply for the corresponding PECB credentials.


Please note that to maintain the integrity of accreditation, the process of transferring certificates to PECB will be done in compliance with the accreditation requirements.
