The Certified Management Systems Internal Auditor training course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively plan, conduct, report, and follow up on management systems (MS) internal audits, in accordance with ISO 19011 recommendations and recognized internal auditing best practices.

The training course provides a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of MS internal auditing, including auditing principles and terminology, common requirements of ISO MS standards, internal audit programs, audit planning and preparation, evidence collection and evaluation, audit findings and conclusions, reporting, follow-up activities, and the roles and responsibilities of internal auditors.

Why Should You Attend?

In an increasingly complex business environment, organizations need effective internal audits to obtain reliable information about the conformity, implementation, and performance of their management systems. Therefore, internal auditors need more than a general understanding of MS standards, instead they must be able to apply auditing principles, evaluate objective evidence, and draw sound conclusions based on their findings.

This training course provides the knowledge and practical skills required to perform MS internal audits effectively. You will learn how to establish and manage an internal audit program, plan and prepare for individual audits, conduct audit activities, collect and evaluate evidence, document findings, communicate audit results, and follow up on agreed actions.

Through practical exercises and discussions, this course enables you to apply auditing techniques to realistic organizational situations and develop the confidence needed to perform objective, systematic, and effective internal audits. It also covers the common requirements of MS standards, helping you apply a consistent auditing approach across different management systems.
