The PECB ISO 9001 Lead Implementer training course equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a quality management system (QMS) based on ISO 9001 requirements.

Using PECB’s IMS2 Methodology and other relevant best practices, participants integrate ISO 9001 requirements with decisions about people, processes, resources, and operational controls.

Why should you attend?

This training course helps you interpret ISO 9001 requirements in context, structure an implementation project, and coordinate the processes and functions that influence the QMS and the conformity of products and services. You will examine how organizational context, customer and other applicable requirements, interested-party needs and expectations, risks, and opportunities can inform implementation priorities.

Through this training, you will learn how to establish and implement a QMS by defining its scope, identifying and managing QMS processes and their interactions, assigning responsibilities, establishing quality objectives, and determining the resources and documented information needed to support its operation. You will also examine how to integrate QMS requirements into organizational processes and coordinate implementation activities across relevant functions.

The course also addresses how to manage and maintain the QMS after implementation. You will practice evaluating implementation approaches and decisions, planning and implementing changes, supporting competence development, determining appropriate operational controls, and monitoring QMS performance. You will examine how internal audits, management reviews, corrective actions, and continual improvement can be used to evaluate and enhance the QMS over time.

Upon completion of the course, you can take the certification exam. If you pass successfully, you may apply for the “PECB Certified ISO 9001 Lead Implementer” credential. This internationally recognized certification validates your professional capabilities and competence in implementing a QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
