As a global provider of education and certification services for individuals, PECB complies with Canadian and International Economic Sanctions imposed by countries where we have a presence or operate.
PECB has mechanisms in place to screen and monitor new and existing users, and organizations, against International Economic Sanctions where PECB has a presence or operates, including sanctions from the UN, Canada, the EU, Costa Rica, and Malaysia, as well as from countries where accreditation authorities are, to stay compliant with International Economic Sanctions, ensuring that PECB cannot directly or indirectly conduct financial transactions, nor get involved in providing services to them.
List of countries where PECB services are not provided:
- Russia
- Belarus
- Iran
- The Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine
- Syria
- North Korea
- Transnistria region of Moldova
NOTE: PECB Group continues to monitor all relevant sanctions and other developments and may adjust this policy accordingly. Services that are violating or would violate International Economic Sanctions are halted immediately. Moreover, an internal audit is performed by PECB on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with International Economic Sanctions and to identify any potential nonconformity.
