The ISO 21001 Foundation training course provides a comprehensive introduction of the fundamental concepts and requirements of an educational organization management system (EOMS) based on ISO 21001. It introduces the core concepts, structure, and requirements of ISO 21001, enabling participants to understand how the standard supports quality education, learner satisfaction, and continual improvement within educational organizations.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to participate in this training course.

Day 1: Introduction to the educational organization management system (EOMS) and ISO 21001

Day 2: EOMS and the certificate exam

The “PECB ISO 21001 Foundation” exam fully meets all the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements. It covers the following competency domains:

Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an educational organization management sysyem (EOMS)
Domain 2: ISO 21001 requirements for an EOMS

After passing the exam, you can apply for the credential shown in the table below. The certificate requirements for ISO 21001 Foundation are:

  1. Certificate and examination fees are included in the price of the training course.
  2. Participants will receive more than 200 pages of comprehensive training materials, including practical examples, exercises, and quizzes.
  3. Participants who have attended the training course will receive an attestation of course completion worth 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits.
  4. Candidates who have completed the training course with one of our partners and failed the first exam attempt are eligible to retake for free the exam within a 12-month period from the course completion date, because the fee paid for the training course includes a first exam attempt and one retake. Otherwise, retake fees apply.
