The EU AI Governance Professional training course equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the EU regulatory framework for artificial intelligence (AI) systems, including the EU AI Act, enabling them to establish AI governance, manage AI risks, and ensure compliant data governance and data-sharing practices under the EU Data Act, while maintaining compliance throughout the AI life cycle.

Why Should You Attend?

While transforming industries, AI is raising significant ethical and regulatory considerations. As AI systems continue to advance, organizations must ensure the systems remain safe, reliable, and ethical by adopting effective governance practices. This requires a structured, professional approach, including governance, risk management, compliance with regulations, and ongoing monitoring.

Europe is setting the tone for responsible AI with the EU AI Act, the world’s first structured legal framework for artificial intelligence. It categorizes systems by the level of risk they pose and places proportionate responsibilities on those who build and deploy them, ranging from basic transparency obligations to outright bans on applications deemed too dangerous. For organizations with any presence in the European market, the EU AI Act translates the principles of responsible AI into concrete obligations, from documented risk assessments and human oversight to data governance, embedding good practice directly into the regulatory framework.

Upon completion of the training course, participants can sit for the certification exam. After successfully passing the exam, participants can apply for the “PECB Certified EU AI Governance Professional” credential, which demonstrates their expertise, knowledge, and practical ability to effectively implement and manage AI governance and compliance in line with the EU AI Act.
