This course provides a foundational overview of ISO 9001:2026 and its key elements, including the role of top management, quality culture, risks and opportunities, quality policy and objectives, resources and support, operational processes for the provision of products and services, performance evaluation, and continual improvement of the QMS. Participants will become familiar with the QMS requirements and how they support consistent product and service quality and customer satisfaction.
Upon completion of the training course, participants can sit for the certification exam. After successfully passing the exam, they can apply for the “PECB Certificate Holder in ISO 9001:2026 Foundation” credential, which demonstrates their foundational knowledge of ISO 9001:2026 requirements and their application within a QMS.

Day 1: Introduction to ISO 9001:2026 and clauses 4 to 6
Day 2: Clauses 7 to 10 and the certificate exam
The “PECB ISO 9001:2026 Foundation” exam fully meets all the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) requirements. It covers the following competency domains:
Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of a quality management system
Domain 2: ISO 9001:2026 requirements for a QMS

First, a candidate must complete the ISO 9001:2026 Foundation training course. Then, they must successfully complete and pass the exam to be able to apply for the “Certificate Holder in ISO 9001:2026 Foundation” certificate.
This is an entry-level credential, and there are no prerequisites for professional or management system project experience. Thus, completing the training course, passing the exam, and applying for the certificate are the only certificate program requisites that certificate holders must meet before obtaining the certificate.
