Waqas is currently working with Risk Associates as Executive Director in their Certification Services Division. Previously he had worked in EY, PWC, KPMG and Deloitte. Between 2017 and 2020 Waqas had been NITSO (National Information Technology Security Officer) and Business-line leader of IT Audit, IT Risk Advisory, Cyber and Emerging Technologies. He also headed between Jun 2020 and 2024 the IT Audit and IT Advisory Practice of Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants (Previously Deloitte until Nov 2020), Waqas had been trainer of Methodologies in PWC and KPMG. Waqas posses experience of multicultural environments. Have worked with global clientele for services related to ISO Standards.   Have over 19 years of Experience in IT Audit, IT Internal Audits, IT Risk advisory, Implementations, Cyber and Emerging technologies governance.
