Amimu has more than 18 years experience in the Information  Technology industry with a manufacturing, mining, fiduciary services, tertiary education and government background. Amimu has held various position in these environments including Information Systems Manager, Information and Communication Technology Manager, ISO project manager, Business Consultant, Cybersecurity Auditor : Resilience and Cybersecurity. Amimu is  a holder of Certified Information Security Manager(CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control(CRISC), ISO27001 Lead Implementer, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, ISO27005 Lead Risk Manager, Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL v3 Foundation, CCNSP(Cyberoam /Sophos Network and Security Professional), COBIT 2019.  part Chartered Association of Certified Accountant(ACCA) certificate and a  Business Continuity Institute(MBCI) certificate at Member level. Amimu's professional journey has seen him implementing a number of projects on Information and CyberSecurity( Auditing and Implementation) , Business Continuity, Enterprise Security Architecture , IT Maturity Assessments, Risk Management  projects in both private and public institutions.   Amimu is a member of ISACA, Business Continuity Institute(MBCI), Institute of Information Technology Professionals  of  South Africa(IITPSA) and the Institute of Risk Managers of SouthAfrica(IRMSA).
