Our first presenter for this webinar is Dan Lohrmann, an internationally recognized cybersecurity leader, technologist, and author. As a top Michigan Government technology executive for seventeen years, Dan was national CSO of the Year, Public Official of the Year and a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader. He is currently CSO & Chief Strategist at Security Mentor, where he advises global and local corporations and governments on cybersecurity and technology infrastructure strategies and security culture change. He has been a keynote speaker at security conferences from South Africa to Europe and Washington D.C. to Moscow.
Our second presenter Vinod Brahmapuram, State CISO for the state of Washington, brings more than 20 years of information technology experience to WaTech with deep expertise in managing cybersecurity, developing and leading high-performing teams, and managing risk and compliance in heavily regulated environments. Before his work in South Carolina, Vinod held several security roles for the state of New Hampshire Health and Human Services, including serving as the agency’s CISO from 2015-2016.
Our third presenter is Adam Ford, who serves as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT). During his 18 years with the State of Illinois, Adam has served as a network engineer and architect designing, implementing and supporting LAN, Data Center and WAN Environments. In addition to responsibilities for oversight of the State of Illinois Security Operations Center and Security Awareness training for the State of Illinois systems, Adam also manages the Election Cyber Navigators in partnership with the State Board of Elections and the Illinois State Police’s Statewide Terrorism and Information Center. He earned a BA from Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL.
