KATE is developed to grant our Partners, Trainers, and Trainees digital access to our training course materials. KATE is a freeware application compatible with multiple operating systems, it is also web-based, supporting both our training course content formats, regular format with slides, and eLearning format with video training course sections recorded by PECB Certified Trainers.
Our Partners can use KATE to access the training course content they are authorized to resell.
Our Trainers can use KATE as a presenting tool during training courses organized by PECB Partners.
Our trainees can use KATE when attending a training course in class or when self-studying.
KATE offers a user-friendly experience, which will allow you to focus more on learning and making this whole experience more enjoyable. Through KATE, you will easily access your training courses as well as download them locally on your device. This will allow you to access the learning content when there is no internet connectivity as well.

Store personal notes which will be available during open-book online exams

Select the slide quality and slide loading mode depending on the internet connection speed
As a lifelong learner and as a PECB Certified Trainer and a former MCT and CNI, I was excited to use PECB’s KATE learning tool and the PECB Exam platform. These two new tools from PECB have made remote or online learning and certification much more accessible while still providing high-quality content. I am planning to be make use of these two tools again in my professional development path and these are two great tools to support anyone who wants to improve their certified skillset!
By providing the training course content in e-format in the KATE application, you now have easy access to online course material to be used as reference for your learning. Even after all these years, the PECB material is great to support your professional job, implementing different management systems based on ISO, with a nice implementation framework. In addition, by switching the exam format into an online-proctored one, exam planning has become very flexible, which allows you to easily fit the exam planning in your busy schedule. Nevertheless, I look forward to have physical class experience again, but the availability of the eLearning and self-study material with the flexible exam planning is a great way of balancing both worlds.
