Most of PECB Courses require an exam on the last day of the training course as a prerequisite to obtaining certification. To comply with the ISO/IEC 17024 requirements, PECB exams must be supervised by independent invigilators (known also as Proctors). Therefore, you need to register an invigilator with PECB, for the next exam session. At least one week before the exam, you must designate a person who is not involved in the training itself to supervise the exam. This independent invigilator can be any person who complies with the following characteristics:

  • Literate
  • At least 18 years old
  • Does not have a disability that could affect the supervision task, such as: visual, hearing or speech impairments
  • Speaks the candidates language
  • Has never been convicted of a crime or sanctioned by any professional Organization
  • Has not sat for any PECB exams in the last 12 months

Once you have selected the invigilator, please have him/her read the Invigilator Guide and apply online via the Inivigilator Application Form. After receiving the application form, if the invigilator meets all requirements, he/ she will be part of the PECB authorized invigilator database and only this person will receive the examination materials by email, including a summary of instructions for the exam supervision activities, and for the return of the examination material once exams are completed.

All PECB Partners will receive detailed information in the Invigilator Guide for this process after they become official PECB Partners.
